White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Author:
Recipe type: Dessert

Ingredients
  • 10 - 12 fresh strawberries with stems
  • 2 cups vanilla flavored candy melts
Instructions
  1. Wash strawberries, and dry each with a paper towel.  It's important the strawberries are dry in order for the candy to adhere to them properly.
  2. Set-up a cookie sheet with wax paper.  This is where you will rest your strawberries just after they've been dipped.
  3. Take 2 cups of candy melts and put them in a medium-sized bowl.
  4. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, then stir with a spatula.  If the candy melts aren't completely melted and smooth, microwave again for another 30 seconds until completely melted.
  5. You'll need to work quickly. Dip the strawberry on it's side and swirl it around the bowl in one smooth circle.  This helps to keep the candy melt texture smooth when you pull it out, and when it's dry, your dipped strawberry should look very pretty.
  6. Place the dipped strawberries in the fridge. Allow the white chocolate candy to harden. Strawberries are best eaten the same day but will keep up to 2 days in the fridge.
