Applesauce

Appropriate for babies 6 months and older.
Ingredients
  • 2 large organic Fuji apples
  • Water
Instructions
  1. Peel, core and slice 2 apples.  Place in a medium pot.
  2. Add about 4 to 5 cups of water.  Boil for about 15 minutes until apples are very tender.
  3. Let cooked apples cool, then transfer to a bowl and using a hand blender, purée the apples to a smooth consistency.
  4. I didn't add any of the reserved liquid to the apples prior to blending because the apples contained sufficient fluid for pureeing.
  5. Fill each Baby Cube with 1½ ounces of applesauce and freeze up to 3 months.  The applesauce keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
