- 3½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- ¾ cup shoyu (soy sauce)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup water
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
- 3 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- In a slow cooker, combine chicken, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, ginger and garlic. Gently stir brown sugar to dissolve.
- Cook on low for 6 hours. Serve immediately.
